Dive Brief:
- Big Four accounting and consulting firm Deloitte on Tuesday unveiled a new suite of “ready-to-deploy” artificial intelligence agents designed to automate workflows across business functions, including financial management.
- The agents, available through a platform dubbed Zora AI and built on technology from NVIDIA, can complete complex tasks and provide “on-demand insights, analysis, reporting, workflow automation, decision support and data sourcing,” Deloitte said in a press release. Hewlett Packard Enterprise plans to offer “Zora AI for Finance” to customers of HPE Private Cloud AI, and both companies are using the tool internally in the meantime, according to the announcement.
- “We're transforming financial operations together and will be able to bring that experience to our joint customers," HPE CFO Marie Myers said in an emailed statement.
Dive Insight:
The move reflects a growing trend in which global consulting firms are using AI to boost internal capabilities while also enhancing the services they provide to enterprise clients.
The announcement also comes as agentic AI offerings and use cases in particular are rapidly increasingly.
Deloitte said Zora AI for Finance draws upon the firm’s “extensive experience” in the business finance function.
The tool is capable of addressing “critical workflows in the finance lifecycle, including expense and invoice management, sales and performance trends, optimization of working capital requirements and more,” according to the Tuesday release.
“We are entering the autonomous enterprise era where agents can transform work and business models, ushering in entirely new ways of working,” Deloitte US CEO Jason Girzadas said in the release.
Deloitte said it has been using Zora AI for Finance internally to streamline and automate its expense management processes, claiming the tool has reduced costs by 25% and increased productivity by 40%.
In a separate release, HPE described the tool as a new “joint solution” that will be available to customers worldwide.
“HPE will be the first customer to deploy the agentic AI platform that reimagines static executive reporting to become a dynamic, on-demand and interactive experience,” the tech giant said. Specific use cases include financial statement analysis, scenario modeling, and competitive and market analysis, it said.
HPE spokesperson Victor O'Brien said the two companies are looking to Zora AI for Finance via HPE Private Cloud AI “to provide our CFO office with dashboards for real-time insights, tools for scenario planning and for operational performance management in upcoming quarters.”
