Leading “Customers’ Choice” cybersecurity awareness training company NINJIO has tapped veteran finance executive Teresa Alicer as its new CFO. As NINJIO enters a period of rapid growth in 2022 and 2023, Alicer’s experience with multi-year strategic planning, improving financial analysis and forecasting, and driving cross-functional alignment will be invaluable.
“Teresa has an exceptional record of helping companies maximize revenue through improved planning, streamlined accounting, and the facilitation of cooperation between teams,” says Shaun McAlmont, President and CEO of NINJIO. “She’s also an experienced leader capable of holding teams accountable, increasing performance, and decreasing turnover. We are very excited to have Teresa join our leadership team.”
Alicer will be responsible for steering NINJIO’s growth strategy as the company establishes partnerships with leaders in the tech industry (such as TD SYNNEX), enters new markets, and maintains its status as the industry leader in security awareness training (SAT). Her decades of experience in senior finance roles including J.D. Power and Associates, Semihandmade, PwC, and Disney make her a strong addition to NINJIO’s executive team. Additionally, with Alicer’s MBA from the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania, her BS in accounting from Loyola Marymount University, and extensive knowledge across accounting and auditing, she brings a well-rounded perspective on a wide range of core financial operations.
“My passion is working within high-growth companies such as NINJIO,” added Alicer. “The executive team, board of directors, and business model are aligned to outpace our already lofty goals. I look forward to maintaining alignment across areas of the business during this exciting time.”
At a time when cybersecurity training has never been more critical for all companies, NINJIO is in a strong position to capture market share with its growing library of engaging 3 to 4-minute microlearning videos. The company holds an average rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars on Gartner Peer Insights, while 98 percent of users say they would recommend its platform. As NINJIO’s customer base expands on the strength of this platform, Alicer will be an integral part of the company’s efforts to explore new markets and forge strategic partnerships.
“NINJIO enables companies to protect themselves as cyberthreats become more common and destructive,” says McAlmont. “Teresa will ensure that we are poised to maximize financial opportunities while we advance our company growth.”
